Greetings Perry Elementary and Preschool Families,

We hope you have enjoyed your summer! Our first day of school quickly approaches, and we look forward to welcoming Pre-K through 4th-grade students to the 2026-2027 school year! As Mrs. Steverding and I begin our year here at Perry Elementary School, we are grateful for the extraordinary Perry community, and we thank you for being a part of it.

We will communicate with you during the school year through ParentSquare with different types of information, including our weekly school newsletter. To consolidate and hopefully simplify the important information we have for you here at PES, we created this Parent Quick Links form for your convenience.

Our mission is to offer our students world-class, personalized opportunities in an environment full of hometown pride. Since the health, well-being, and academic growth of our students remain our priorities, we will continue to focus our efforts on integrated student support and academic support services. We cannot wait to welcome our new and returning students to Perry Elementary School and Perry Preschool.

The first day of transportation will begin on August 17, 2026. If your student is an elementary student please check the phase in schedule for their first day of attendance. As a reminder, the beginning of the school year often brings changes due to the addition or removal of students from routes. Please be patient with us as routes may take longer during the first couple weeks. We ask that your student is out at their assigned stop at least 5 minutes prior to the scheduled pick up time. For Kindergarten students, an adult must be present at pickup and drop off. If transportation is needed at a location other than the primary residence please notify us in writing by email of your request at transport@perry-lake.org. If your child does not require transportation, please inform us so we can make the necessary adjustments to the routes.

We look forward to safely transporting your student(s) this school year, we encourage you to review the bus rules with them on the right of the linked webpage for a successful year. You may also find more information within our Transportation Handbook.

Culture Playbook

At Perry Schools, we embrace a culture that is deeply rooted in our mission to inspire all students to achieve personal excellence, pursue world-class standards, and become self-directed, lifelong learners. Our Culture Playbook guides how we think, act, and interact every day. We believe in the Pursuit of Greatness—starting with understanding our “why,” pushing boundaries, and committing to growth for as long as it takes. We strive to be Better Every Day, recognizing that consistent effort and reflection lead to continuous improvement. Through the Power of Relationships, we prioritize respect, open communication, and the belief that every person matters. We are Stronger Together when we collaborate and support one another, and we hold ourselves to a high standard of Personal Responsibility—looking inward, owning our actions, and choosing to be a positive influence. By living out these beliefs and behaviors, we ensure that every student is not only achieving success now, but is also truly Prepared for Life—equipped with the skills, mindset, and character to thrive in any future path they choose.
